To partner with parents, teachers and the Body of Christ to equip, empower, and educate the next generation of world changers to be distinguished by God’s presence, character and wisdom and fulfill their pre-ordained purpose in life.

APOSTOLIC FOUNDATION

Creation Sciences Academy is a Christian K-12 school with a vision to raise up a generation of young people that have learned to hear and steward the voice of God and change the world through innovation, creativity and invention. The Creation Sciences academy vision was birthed in the heart of school’s founder, Apostle Schlyce Jimenez, while she studied the life of Christian inventor, George Washington Carver. Mr. Carver’s life is a powerful testimony of what is possible when believers learn how to hear the voice of God and incorporate that into their vocation, lifestyle and calling in life.

In addition to being influenced by the life of Mr. Carver, at its core, the Creation Sciences vision is centered around the church’s mandate to disciple nations by reclaiming the seven spheres of influence in our culture and society - Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment, and Business. This strategy was first formulated in 1975 when Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together in Colorado. God simultaneously gave each of these change agents a message to give to the other. During that same time frame Francis Schaeffer was given a similar message. That message was that if we are to impact any nation for Jesus Christ, then we would have to affect the seven spheres of society that are the pillars of any society.

HOLY SPIRIT AS HEADMASTER

The founding principle of the school is to make the Holy Spirit its headmaster and to depend on him in all that we do. As such, the vision for the school as well as every detail of its inception is based on prophetic insight, prayer and the Word of God. Our educational philosophy was given to us by the Holy Spirit and is based on a biblical model of learning and discipleship. It’s a Kingdom focused approach based on the truth that every student has been given a pre-ordained mission in life by God that encompasses their vocation, future spouse, and even the place that they will live. Therefore, at CSA, parents, teachers, and mentors work hand in hand to develop graduates that are groomed for specific vocational and life assignments in the Kingdom of God. We believe that every student who attends CSA is called to do so by the Holy Spirit and that God is raising up a new generation of consecrated Daniels in this hour that will not compromise heaven’s agenda but operate in the power of the Holy Spirit and change history.

ACADEMIC ADVANTAGE

The Church has a distinct advantage over the world when it comes to education – the Holy Spirit. As Daniel 1:20 indicates, children of God should outperform the world. Therefore, we acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is the distinguishing factor in our school and the students’ primary helper and teacher. Further differentiating CSA is the way we have organized our classrooms. Unlike schools that are organized by grades and students ages, at CSA we have chosen to implement a model that is closer to a home school or one-room schoolhouse format. Our goal is to impart a love of learning to our students that will last a lifetime. Therefore, we employ a self-study, teacher-lead model that empowers students to “learn to learn” rather than just teaching them subject matter. This allows students to learn at their own pace while developing an important learning skill that will last them a lifetime. It is not uncommon for students to grow 1-2 grade levels in a year using this approach. Furthermore, studies have shown that students that learn in this environment make the transition to college much easier and faster. In addition to the one-room schoolhouse format, our targeted student-to-teacher ratio is 1:10, which facilitates greater personal attention. And last but not least, a huge CSA difference is how we tailor design every student’s curriculum to match the student’s academic level and learning style, while helping to prepare and focus them on their individual call. For example, if a student is called to business, they might be asked to study the great business leaders in history as opposed to just hearing a generic, one size fits all history lesson.

LEARNING RX PARTNERSHIP

CSA has partnered with LearningRx to offer its state of the art brain and cognitive skills training that empowers anyone of any age to learn faster and easier. LearningRx brain training will identify and strengthen the skills behind how students learn. CSA will provide LearningRX’s testing and life changing training on-site as part of its core academic program for students of all ages. As a result, students will learn and read better for the rest of their lives.

THE ROLE OF PROPHETIC INSIGHT

At CSA, all of our students will be trained to operate in the prophetic so that they will know how to hear the voice of God and receive, minister, and steward the prophetic insights the Holy Spirit gives them regarding their purpose in life. Additionally, each student will receive regular prophetic ministry from our prophetic ministry teams, which consists of mature, spirit-filled believers that are established in the prophetic ministry. All of the prophetic ministry that students receive will be recorded and distributed to parents and also kept in the students file. The older students will be required to incorporate this prophetic insight into their daily studies by developing prophetic prayer declarations, vision boards, and vision notebooks. Students will be required to spend daily time meditating on what God is showing them regarding their future.

HOLY SPIRIT ENCOUNTERS

Through times of daily worship, students will learn how to hear and discern the Holy Spirit in a greater way. The goal is to develop students who personally encounter and know the love of God, walk in the power of the Spirit, hear His voice clearly, and have made the Lord their very best friend. Therefore, in order to do this they must get to know the Holy Spirit for themselves. Guest speakers that are gifted in worship, worship dance, the prophetic arts, the gifts of the Spirit, and other important topics will regularly lead the students into greater understanding of the Holy Spirit and the spirit realm. Our goal is to teach our students to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle and incorporate the Holy Spirit into all aspects of their lives.
